하양꿈바우시장은 지역 주민과 방문객이 함께 어우러지는 생활 밀착형 시장으로, 보다 친근하고 현대적인 이미지 구축을 목표로 마켓 아이덴티티 전반의 리뉴얼을 진행하였습니다.
본 프로젝트는 시장의 상징성을 강화하고, 다양한 온·오프라인 환경에서 활용 가능한 캐릭터 중심의 브랜드 시스템을 구축하는 데 중점을 두었습니다.
‘꿈바우(꿈을 들어주는 바위)’라는 시장 명칭의 스토리텔링을 기반으로, 시장 방문객에게 긍정적인 에너지와 따뜻한 감정을 전달하는 캐릭터 세계관을 설계하였습니다.
하양을 의미하는 '물'과 '볕'이라는 자연적 상징 요소를 캐릭터에 반영해 시장이라는 공간이 주는 생동감, 활력, 희망의 메시지를 시각적으로 표현하였습니다.
Hayang Kkumbao Market is a community-oriented market where local residents and visitors come together, and this project involved a comprehensive renewal of the market identity with the goal of establishing a more approachable and contemporary image.
This project focused on strengthening the market’s symbolic identity and building a character-driven brand system that can be flexibly applied across a wide range of online and offline environments.
Based on the storytelling behind the market name “Kkumbao” (the rock that grants dreams), a character universe was developed to convey positive energy and warm emotions to market visitors.
Natural symbolic elements representing Hayang—“water” and “sunlight”—were incorporated into the characters to visually express the vitality, energy, and hopeful message embodied by the market as a living, dynamic space.
