이러한 비전을 담은 브랜드 'MONTBEER(몽트비어)'는 산(Mont)과 맥주(Beer)의 합성어로, 설악산의 능선과 맥주의 원료인 ‘홉(Hop)’의 형상을 결합하여 브랜드의 서사를 시각화했습니다.
디자인 측면에서는 역동적인 라인을 통해 설악산의 웅장함과 수제 맥주의 생동감을 표현하며 크래프트 맥주 특유의 진정성을 강조했습니다.
최종적으로 구축된 디자인 시스템은 패키지와 매장 전반에 적용되어 소비자들에게 속초의 신선함과 프리미엄 로컬 브랜드로서의 신뢰감을 동시에 전달하고 있습니다.
Sokcho Mountain Microbrewing aimed to establish its identity as a "high-quality craft beer" brand imbued with craftsmanship, rooted in the symbolism of Sokcho and Seoraksan Mountain. The company’s primary objective was to build a distinctive brand asset that intuitively conveys the natural flavors and the expertise unique to a small-scale microbrewery.
The brand name "MONTBEER," which embodies this vision, is a portmanteau of "Mont" (Mountain) and "Beer." The brand’s narrative is visualized by combining the ridges of Seoraksan Mountain with the shape of "Hops," the essential raw material for beer.
From a design perspective, the dynamic lines express the grandeur of Seoraksan and the vitality of craft beer, emphasizing the authenticity unique to the craft brewing industry. The final design system has been applied across packaging and retail spaces, simultaneously delivering the freshness of Sokcho and the reliability of a premium local brand to consumers.
